New Exhibit Announced at the Discovery Station!

New Exhibit Announced at the Discovery Station!

Discovery Station will be closed November 2-9, 2015 for the removal of the DEA's Target Maryland Exhibit.

The award-winning DEA educational and interactive display brought field trips and visitors from more than ten states, during its one-year scheduled exhibition at Discovery Station.

The Discovery Station Board of Directors is pleased to announce that during the short closure, a new LEGO® Robotics Education Exhibit will be installed.  This exhibit will highlight the importance of STEM literacy through comprehensive hands-on learning elements that specialize in the four disciplines of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The exhibit will contain three sections:

The first section will focus on the construction and programming of LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3s.

The second section will feature two LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 Arena Challenges, where visitors can compete against one another.

Finally, the third section will focus on the real world application of robotics.

More information about the new LEGO exhibit will soon follow!
