2017 Railroad Heritage Days
The 2017 Railroad Heritage Days, in partnership with the City of Hagerstown Railroad Museum and Engine 202, will feature train displays and entertainment for kids and adults on Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21.
At the Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum at 296 S. Burhans Blvd. - Railroad equipment will be open for tours, interactive model train layouts, railroad pictures and artifacts, four scale model train displays and Western Maryland Railroad Historical Society display, sales and balloon animals. Plus three cabooses, Western Maryland Engine 132, historic reconditioned passenger cars and H&F Trolley Car will be open and on display. And don't forget the gift shop.
At Ridge Avenue Park at 348 Ridge Avenue (across from the Roundhouse Museum) - Trackless train Ride! Come see the fire engines, antique cars, buses and military equipment, 40 & 8 Train, plus inflatables, food, drink and lots of fun activities.
At Hagerstown Railroad Museum & Engine 202 at 501 Highland Way (in City Park) - Take a wagon train ride on Tommy 202! Enjoy a rock climbing wall, inflatable bouncing fun, face painting and barrel cart rides. Plus cabooses, Engine 202 and other historic railroad equipment on display.
Admission is $10 for adults. Kids 16 and under are free. Admission allows entry to all three locations and transportation between locations.
Parking is available at the Roundhouse Museum, streets surrounding Ridge Avenue Park and at City Park.
