BISFA's 10-year Anniversary Celebration Weekend
The Barbara Ingram School for the Arts will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a blowout Celebration Weekend in downtown Hagerstown, May 24 through 26.
The celebration starts Friday, May 24, with a Wind Up Event from 6 to 9 p.m. in University Plaza. The event is open to the public and family-friendly, featuring music, snacks, face painting and more! Admission is FREE and there will be a cash bar.
Also Friday, a reception for the BISFA Teacher & Alumni Art Show will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Washington County Arts Council, 34 South Potomac St., Suite 100. The art exhibit will be open Saturday, May 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to both the reception and the exhibit is FREE.
The Maryland Theatre will host two special shows on Saturday, May 25, at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Return to the stage where alumni, students and faculty collaborate for special performances. The event will be emceed by Ryan Smetzer (BISFA Class of 2013). Tickets are $15 apiece. Call 301-790-3500 or click here to purchase tickets.
The weekend wraps up on Sunday, May 26, with the BISFA Alumni Brunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at University Plaza. Tickets are $10 for this special farewell event for alumni and their families. Call 240-347-4934 for tickets.
