Totem Pole Playhouse presents 'A Christmas Carol'

Totem Pole Playhouse, in association with Gettysburg Community Theatre, presents A Christmas Carol, December 8 to 17, 2017, at Gettysburg College's Majestic Theatre in downtown Gettysburg.

This all-new adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic tale simply and directly tells the redemption of the human soul and preserves the beautiful language, charm, and humor of the original.

Set in Victorian England, the miserly old Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, who informs him that he will be visited by three spirits: The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Christmas Yet to Come. Scrooge meets these specters and learns a great deal from his past and present and glimpses what the future is to be.

Over 50 actors, singers and dancers bring Dickens’ story beautifully to life with music and good humor as the giant pop-up-book of a backdrop opens so that all who see A Christmas Carol will discover the true magic of the holiday season.

Tickets are on sale now. Call the Majestic Theater box office at 717-337-8200 or click here to purchase online. Group rates are available by calling 717-352-2164.
